Shipping Policy
Thank you for shopping with RAKUDA.We carefully inspect each item before shipment and work closely with artisans and workshops across Japan to prepare your order with care.
Shipping Fees
Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on the destination, package size, weight, and shipping method.
For international orders, shipping fees generally start from JPY 3,000, but the final shipping cost may vary depending on the destination country and order details.
Processing Time
If an item is in stock, orders are generally processed and shipped within 3–5 business days after the order is placed, excluding Sundays and Japanese public holidays.
In some cases, shipment may take up to approximately one week depending on shipping arrangements.
Please note that some products are handmade craft items, and processing may take longer depending on the production status of the workshop or maker.
If there is a significant delay or an item becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will contact you promptly by email.
Shipping Methods
For domestic orders within Japan, we primarily use carriers such as Yamato Transport, Sagawa Express, or Japan Post, depending on the shipment.
For international orders, we generally use Japan Post EMS (Express Mail Service) or another appropriate carrier depending on the destination and package conditions.
The shipping carrier will be selected at our discretion to ensure safe and reliable delivery.
Estimated Delivery Time
Delivery times vary depending on the shipping destination, customs procedures, weather conditions, and carrier operations.
Any delivery dates or timeframes provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs inspections, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Customs, Duties, and Import Taxes
For international orders, your package may be subject to customs inspections, import duties, taxes, handling fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country.
These charges are the responsibility of the customer or recipient.
RAKUDA is not responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, handling fees, or delays caused by customs clearance procedures.

International Shipping Restrictions
Please note that some products may not be available for international shipping due to material restrictions, shipping regulations, or destination-specific rules.
For example, we currently do not offer international shipping for silver products.
If an order cannot be shipped internationally after purchase, we will contact you as soon as possible.
Packaging and Gift Wrapping
All items are carefully packed before shipment.
If gift wrapping is selected at the time of purchase, the item will be packed accordingly. Please note that gift wrapping or packaging may be affected by customs inspections for international shipments.
We are not responsible for damage to packaging or gift wrapping caused by customs inspections or shipping carriers.
Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items
Please inspect your order upon arrival.
